Pollution In Bangldesh

GNML Session#4 has helped me know the use of RSS and Google Alerts. So using those resources now I can know more about the problems of my country from other people's perspectives and help bring a change to improve the condition.

Air pollution in Bangladesh mainly comes from the car exhausts. There is a high percentage of Sulfur dioxide and nitrogen dioxide in the air we breathe back in my country. "The World Health Organization estimates that up to 10,000 premature deaths a year in Bangladesh are attributed to air pollution."- this is a vital information that I got to know from an online newspaper. I am glad I am an exchange student who was given this big opportunity to learn so much. Now my main goal is to bring Social change using Social Media. I hope my approach brings a change in the world.

Why Litter?

Bangladesh, the country of greenery is its specialty. The nature is beautiful and worth preserving. But littering in the streets of this country is making it dirty and miserable.

Future of the World

The streets are filled with all kinds of waste products, such as chips packets, soda cans, banana peel, etc. Sewage system is blocked with all these litters. I can hear people complaining about how the sewage has not be cleaned and how dirty the roads are becoming, yet the ones complaining are also the ones littering. Thus, making the roads dirty for pedestrians.

Stop Littering

Weather here is very pleasant. Summers can be very humid but the fertile soil helps grow the most succulent mangoes at that time. Littering on that precious ground can have bad impacts on the soil.

Pollution in the lakes, ponds and rivers are killing the fishes or other animals of the marine family. Also the animals who are dependent on those marine animals are dying from illness.

Wildlife of the Nature

Even in the parks and railway stations, airports or outside the big shopping malls have dirt all over the place. Tourists from outside the country then judges the people of our country by the outside image of the roads. Everyone is busy decorating the interior of their houses, leaving the exterior of the country's image as "messed up".

Litter Litter Everywhere

The main point of blogging here is to bring an end to all these littering and thanks to GNML that now I feel I can make my country a place where everyone feels welcomed and appreciates us. Make the country environment friendly for the kids to enjoy and LEARN from the nature. Discover its beauty within reach.

Nature is the Teacher

The color of the nature is a satisfying color to the eyes, but saving that color is our duty. So why litter when you can be a responsible citizen and trash it out for the satisfaction of yourself and everyone else?

I believe that if one takes the step to bringing a change others will follow.
"YOU ARE THE BIG CHANGE IN THE COMMUNITY"
With one optimist act others can be influenced big time!!!
